図書、時間、そして沈黙

I kind of want to make my own custom wand, core and everything. My wand on Pottermore is ash, 14 1/2 inches, unicorn hair, unyielding.

Of course, I’ll likely have to modify the core seeing as I don’t really have access to any horses, or not any that I would like to incorporate into something as significant as a wand. I’m thinking the core will have to come from the wildlife rehabilitation center where I volunteer. We’ll have to see what I can come up with.

Now to find where I can find an Ash tree. :D

Update: quick look at my Florida Audubon book and White Ash trees are native to the area. Now for the hunt, haha. Oh gosh, I actually have things I’m supposed to be doing today, lol.

Update#2: I just want to reiterate how simultaneously lame and epic this quest is.

Update#3: So, maybe the tree isn’t quite in my area, but rather a bit further north. Camping in Ocala National Forest anyone?
